I don’t buy pre-prepped food very often, but once in awhile I grab a few easy things to use when I’m not feeling very inspired to create truly homemade meals. This one is so easy, it really shouldn’t even be considered a recipe. Grab a bag of salad mix, some chicken strips, and tortillas or wraps and you’re ready to go!
G3 Ranch Field Wraps
Simple and quick, these wraps are always a hit!
Ingredients
- 4-5 burrito size tortillas or wraps
- 8 pre-cooked chicken strips
- 1 chopped salad kit (with cheese and dressing included)
- 8 slices bacon (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and cook chicken strips according to instructions on the package. I like to use two strips per person. Slice into bite size pieces when they are done baking.
- Fry your bacon until fairly crispy. Use a paper towel to absorb extra grease. Dice or crumble into bite size pieces.
- Dump your favorite salad kit into a bowl, add the toppings – cheese, dressing, etc. and toss. I used the avacado ranch salad kit. Add chicken strips and bacon and toss well again.
- Divide the salad and chicken strip mix onto 4-5 tortillas and wrap them up tightly. Serve with chips or a pasta salad and some pickles! Enjoy!
- If these are going to the field, I use tin foil to wrap them up in for transport.
