Cuisine American
- 4 lbs pork sausage
- 4 lbs G3 Ranch ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped fine
- 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp season salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Mix together by hand until everything is well incorporated.
Preheat oven to 400°.
Form meatballs - I make mine about 2 inches in diameter. Place them on greased baking sheets with a little space in between them.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through. Adjust cooking time for size accordingly, less time for smaller meatballs, more time for larger.
Remove baking sheets from the oven and let meatballs cool completely. Add to ziplock bags in the quantities you want. I usually do 10 meatballs per bag, which is plenty for 2 people plus a leftover meal. Put the bags in the freezer and pull out to add to any dishes you want, use up within 2 months.
** Makes about 70 2 inch diameter meatballs.
**Recipe Ideas:
Swedish meatballs - Combine a can of cream of mushroom soup, one cup milk, and meatballs, simmer together until meatballs are warmed through. Serve over pasta or mashed potatoes.
Meatball Subs - Combine marinara sauce and meatballs, simmer until meatballs are warmed through, place meatballs on bun and top with shredded cheese.
Spaghetti & Meatballs - Whip up your favorite spaghetti sauce and add meatballs.
BBQ Crockpot Meatballs - throw in a crockpot with your favorite BBQ sauce and a little water or broth.
Brown Gravy Meatballs - simmer meatballs in gravy, serve with mashed potatoes and corn.
Sweet & Sour Meatballs Over Rice - Make a sweet and sour sauce and add meatballs, serve over rice. Easy Sweet & Sour Sauce - 1 1/2 cups water, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup vinegar, 3 TBSP soy sauce, 1 1/2 TBSP cornstarch mixed with small amount of water to make slurry. Add ingredients to pan and simmer with meatballs, add pineapple and ginger if you prefer. Be sure to combine cornstarch with a little bit of water before adding to the other ingredients or it'll be lumpy.
Cheesy Marinara Meatballs - add meatballs to marina and simmer, top with cheese of choice.
Meatball & Veggie Soup - classic vegetable beef soup, just add meatballs instead of beef. Beef broth, all your favorite veggies and add pasta for extra heartiness. Throw in some meatballs, season it up and let it simmer!
As always - season all these sauces up according to your tastes and get creative!
