Butter Swim Biscuits
Our favorite biscuits! Skip the biscuit cutter and bake them up in a skillet or pan. These biscuits are literally swimming in butter, making them have the most delicious, crispy crust.

Ingredients

butter, melted in the pan

flour

sugar

baking powder

salt

milk or buttermilk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°. Prep 10" cast iron skillet or 9x9 pan with butter.
Place pan with butter in oven to melt while you mix the biscuit dough.
In a medium bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
Stir in milk or buttermilk until just combined.
Swirl melted butter onto sides of the pan, place the dough into the melted butter.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits are golden.
Cut into wedges or squares and serve. Enjoy!

**Whip up a batch of sausage gravy for amazing biscuits and gravy or enjoy the biscuits with some jam.
